Neighbours who alerted police were suspicious of woman’s curvier figure

A cocaine dealer was exposed after neighbours grew suspicious that he had used his drugs money to pay for his wife’s breast enlargement.

Police raided the house of Julie Coyne and George Kelly in Lobley Hill, Gateshead, after neighbours became suspicious that the couple were living beyond their means.

The pair had claimed they were living on benefits, but when officers raided their home, they found £30,000 of cocaine and receipts for dental work for fillings.

Eagle-eyed neighbours had alerted the authorities after noticing that Mrs Coyne’s bustier figure.

As well as drugs, police also found wads of cash, a stash of Rolex watches and boxing memorabilia – including expensive replica championship belts.

The pair, both 39, were arrested alongside co-conspirator Brian Hall, 50, who lives on the same street.

At Newcastle Crown Court, Kelly was jailed to two and a half years while Hall was given three years and six months.

Coyne was given a six-month community order and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
